Da oggi su Worth Wearing trovi anche Emergency, l’associazione umanitaria fondata da Gino Strada, che anche durante questa emergenza si è occupata della prevenzione del contagio, della cura dei malati in terapia intensiva, e nell’aiutare le persone a rischio o in quarantena.
Oggi, dopo l’emergenza sanitaria, sta nascendo anche un’altra emergenza: una nuova povertà, che i volontari di Emergency hanno incontrato di persona, a Milano e non solo. La crisi economica e sociale è arrivata quasi in contemporanea con quella sanitaria e purtroppo rischia di lasciare tante persone escluse da qualsiasi progetto di futuro.
EMERGENCY è al fianco di queste famiglie, per aiutarle a ripartire e non sentirsi sole, ridare dignità a chi si trova in una situazione che non avrebbe mai immaginato. A Milano e Roma, Emergency ha avviato un servizio per dare loro beni alimentari e di prima necessità, attraverso le sue strutture logistiche e catene di approvvigionamento.
In questo momento nessuno deve rimanere escluso.
